
New Delhi: Veteran Rock legend and The Rolling Stones’ frontman Mick Jagger showed gratitude to India by penning down a thank you note in Hindi on Twitter (Now X).
In his note, Mick wrote “Thanks and Hello India, I felt joyed coming here, away from hectic daily chores” With Love to you are.”

His tweet went viral in just a matter of a few hours and has garnered over 14 lakh views so far.
Later, Prime Minister Modi also reacted to Jagger’s thank you note for India with a tweet that read, “You Can’t Always Get What You Want’, but India is a land brimming with seekers, offering solace and ‘Satisfaction’ to all. Delighted to know you found joy among the people and culture here. Do keep coming.”

Mick Jagger’s memorable tour of India
During his days in India, the veteran singer spent time in the city of Joy Kolkata, the same place he toured almost a decade ago.
He also treated his fans by sharing a number of his pictures from India’s trip on his Instagram account in which he was seen making lifetime memories on the bustling streets of the metropolitan city.

In one of the shared pictures, the singer is seen posing in one of the streets of Kolkata dressed in a unique printed shirt, cap, and pants.
In another one, the rock and roll fame was seen standing alongside mythical bhoot artworks. A third picture featured Jagger posing with an idol of Goddess Kali.
Besides the iconic pictures, the singer also dropped a number of video clips showcasing an artisan working on an idol of Jagaddhari Mata with utmost dedication.
