Roopanthara OTT Release Date: Raj B Shetty and Hanumakka’s anthology drama Roopanthra is available for watching online. Those who missed its theatrical run can stream the movie right from the comfort of their homes on Amazon Prime Video where the flick is accessible with a basic subscription to Prime membership.
About the Movie’s Box Office Run
Helmed by Mithilesh Edavalath, Roopanthara graced the theaters earlier this year on 26 July 2024. The film received a modest reception from the cinegoers & critics alike who went gaga over its gripping storyline & brilliant acting performances.
However, regardless of the rave reviews, the Kannada drama failed to emerge as a commercial success on the ticket windows & concluded its Box Office run with unremarkable collections.
Plot of the Film
Roopanthara, set in a dystopian world, sees a wanderer recalling four different stories from the past. The first one revolves around an aging couple who become restless after learning unfortunate news. The next story in the line focuses on a beggar who is compelled to visit the police station in order to prove she is not the Kidnapper of her own child.
Meanwhile, in the third tale, the narrator talks about a young boy who gets into trouble because of a video game. The fourth & final story, on the other hand, is about a goon who struggles with an IT worker.
Cast and Production
In addition to Raj B. Shetty and Hanumakka, Roopanthara also stars a number of other talented actors like Somshekhar Bolegaon, Lekha Naidu, Bharat GB, Anjan Bharadwaj and Salmin Sheriff essaying key roles. Suhan Prasad teaming up with Parth Jani has bankrolled the thriller under the banner of Mango Pickle Entertainment and Jani Entertainment.
