New Delhi: Ram Charan recently flew to the USA for several promotional events ahead of the Oscars 2023. According to reports, the ‘RRR’ star is also set to become the first Telugu actor to appear on Good Morning America. Before him, Priyanka Chopra, who is now a global star, has appeared on the show several times.
‘RRR’ winning international awards and being nominated in the Best Song category for ‘Naatu Naatu’ at the Academy Awards 2023, has made Ram Charan a face that the USA is familiar with. His action sequences impressed the audience, critics and American directors and he won a lot of praise for ‘RRR’.
The actor is on a tour to the USA and will also be present at the 6th annual Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) awards.

The show is reported to be telecast on February 22 at 11 pm IST, on ABC. The show features news headlines and interviews and is currently presented by Michael Strahan, Roberts and Stephanopoulos.
Team ‘RRR’ has run a big campaign leading to their victory at the Golden Globes and will look out to replicate that at the Oscars. Director Rajamouli and actor Jr NTR have also been on a tour to the USA along with Ram Charan to screen and promote the film, while this time Ram will be leading alone. Music director MM Keeravani, the man behind ‘Naatu Naatu’ has also been at the Golden Globes to fetch the award.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan was spotted at Hyderabad airport barefoot before his flight to the USA. Netizens praised him for his simplicity and videos and pictures from the airport went viral on the internet.
The actor is also expecting his first child with his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela.
