Rupali Ganguly Birthday Special: Unlike on screen, real-life Anupama’s love life is overly filmy

Today Rupali is not only the highest-paid actress in the TV industry, but she is also playing the most loved character of the current times

New Delhi: Indian television’s most popular face and highest-paid actress Rupali Ganguly aka Anupama turns 45 today. On this occasion, her fans and fellow celebs have been showering the diva with their love and well wishes across social media.

Apart from playing the iconic character of Monisha in ‘Sara Bhai Vs Sara Bhai’, Rupali did several other shows, but later took a break from acting and got busy with her personal life.

But after investing years into family and relationships, the actress made a massive come back in the industry, and that too in such a tremendous manner that she presently happens to be the most popular face of the Indian daily soaps.

Today Rupali is not only the highest-paid actress in the TV industry, but she is also playing the most loved character of the current times.

Rupali, who is winning the hearts of people with her on-screen character Anupama, faces an abusive marriage on camera, but her real life love story is no less than that of a film.

Rupali had once revealed in an interview, “We were only friends for 12 years. We first met when I modeled for one of his commercials. Then we became friends and worked together. We didn’t even realize it when we fell for each other and started dating. All I know is that he has loved me thoroughly”.

Ashwin was the VP of an international insurance company and lived in the US. But, as soon as both started to plan their future making up their mind to get married, he left his job and came to settle in India.

The couple tied the knot on February 6 in 2013 and are parents to a son.
