Gautham Ramachandran’s magnum opus is the story of a lower-middle-class family, whose world comes crashing when the police arrest Gargi’s father along with 4 other accused in the rape case of a 9-year-old girl.
Overall, Gargi happens to be an emotional story about the tragedy of sexual abuse, trauma, truth, manipulation, and narratives. The multiple layers added to various aspects help keep the audience hooked.
