Saif Ali Khan gets admitted to hospital after triggering tricep injury during film’s shoot, undergoes surgery: Reports

As reported by several media outlets, the 52-year-old is currently hospitalized in Mumbai’s Kolilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital

New Delhi: Bollywood’s acclaimed actor Saif Ali Khan has been reportedly admitted to hospital after his tricep injury got triggered during a film shoot on Sunday.

As reported by several media outlets, the 52-year-old is currently hospitalized in Mumbai’s Kolilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Medical Research Institute where he has undergone surgery and is currently recovering from the same.

Saif was reportedly brought to the hospital at around 8: AM in the morning after he felt immense pain in one of his triceps while performing an intense action-packed sequence during a movie shoot. He was also accompanied by his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan who is allegedly still by his side in the hospital. However, what exactly led to Saif’s injury is still a matter of speculation.

Meanwhile, the celebrity couple was recently seen having the time of their lives by enjoying New Year vacations with their sons Taimur Ali Khan & Jehangir Ali Khan in Switzerland

Taking to her Instagram handle, the Jab We Met actress also shared a snippet of herself with Saif Ali Khan attached to a captain that read, “In my PJ with my man in a DJ As cheesy as it sounds it was the best night ever 2024 Spread joy and peace…Happy new year lovely people.”

On his professional front, Saif Ali Khan last graced the big screen as Lankesh (Ravana) in Om Raut’s controversial mythological actioner Adipurush.

Besides the Kurbaan actor, the film also featured a number of seasoned artists including Prabhas, Kriti Senon, and Sunny Singh. It was released in the theaters on 16 June 2023 where it failed miserably & was labeled a ‘disaster’ by the fans and the critics.
