Salaar OTT Release Date Confirmed: Prabhas’ epic action drama is arriving on Netflix on this date

After about a month and a half from its theatrical debut, the makers of Salaar have also enthralled the fans once again by revealing the official OTT release date of the Prabhas starrer

New Delhi: Following the debacle of Adipurush, Pan Indian superstar made a dream comeback at the Box office with his latest dystopian actioner Salaar: Ceasefire- Part 1 in December 2023.

From its very first day on the big screens, Salaar captivated the cine-goers who hailed the film a blockbuster, going gaga over its exceptional acting & compelling plotline.

As a result, the movie emerged as a blockbuster affair at the BO while amassing a whopping sum of Rs 405 crore in India & Rs 611 crore worldwide.

The makers of Salaar have officially confirmed that the film is set to stream on Netflix from 20 January 2023. This means that all those fans who weren’t fortunate enough to enjoy Prashanth Neil’s masterpiece in the theaters will be able to watch the film from the comfort of their sofas from tomorrow onwards.

However, it is important to mention here that the Shruhi Hassan starter will be initially released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil & Malayalam language and its Hindi dubbed version will arrive on the same OTT platform a few days later.

Helmed by Prashant Neil, who is known for his exceptional direction in the KGF series, Salaar tells the story of a fictional town that is home to two men (Prabhas) & Vradha (Prithviraj Sukumaran) who are best friends with each other. However, when some unexpected events create differences between Deva and Vradha, a new rivalry gets sparked between the two and turns them into arch-rivals.

In its steller cast, the dystopian drama features a number of seasoned actors including Prabhas, Shruti Hassan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Saran Shakthi Easwari Rao Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu, Abhinay Raj Singh, Tinnu Anand, and Madhu Guruswamy in key roles.

The film was produced by Vijay Kiragandur and was released last year on 22 December under the banner of Homable Films.
