Sam Bahadur advance booking: Vicky Kaushal-starrer has crossed the Rs 1 crore mark, release date countdown has started

New Delhi: Sam Bahadur, the forthcoming biographical war movie starring Vicky Kaushal, is progressively increasing its advance bookings. The film’s advance bookings have surpassed Rs 1 crore, thus production is proceeding according to plan. According to Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur has earned almost Rs 1.24 crore till now from its advance booking.

The life of the legendary Indian Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw is the inspiration for the film Sam Bahadur. Vicky Kaushal is the lead actor and Meghna Gulzar is the director.

The advance tickets for Sam Bahadur have been satisfactory thus far, and the film is set to be released in cinemas on December 1, 2023.

According to Sacnilk, the film has a booking total of 38556 tickets, which has earned it around Rs 1.24 crore. The National Capital Region (NCR), Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jaipur, and Lucknow were major players in the film’s advance bookings, as reported by Sacnilk.

While competing with a massive picture like Animal may seem like a risk at first glance, Sam Bahadur may end up benefiting from the audience that Animal is sure to attract.

Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, tells the story of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army Officer to be promoted to the position of Field Marshal, and the Chief of the Indian Army during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war.

In addition to Vicky Kaushal, the film stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Neeraj Kabi, and the film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala.

At the same time, Vicky Kaushal mentioned Sam Bahadur at the Sahitya AajTak 2023 event, claiming that it is likely one of the first films using actual troops in every shot.

The film has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification and has a running duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. On December 1, the picture will compete with Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, at the box office.
