Sam Bahadur BO collection day 10: Vicky Kaushal-starrer receives significant boost, surpasses 50 crore milestone

The tenth day of Sam Bahadur’s release has shown that audiences are eager to see the biopic about Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.

New Delhi: Based on preliminary estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, the Vicky Kaushal–starring Sam Bahadur had an intriguing weekend recovery, earning 7.50 crore rupees on Sunday and a total of 56.55 crore rupees at the box office.

Although it faces tough competition from ‘Animal,’ Sam Bahadur has been doing well since its December 01 premiere.

The tenth day of Sam Bahadur’s release has shown that audiences are eager to see the biopic about Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Even though there was some early opposition, Sam Bahadur kept up a consistent pace throughout the whole first week.

The film Sam Bahadur began with a total of 6.25 crores of rupees, and after the first week, it had accumulated a total of 38.80 crores, indicating a slow-paced collection.

However, the movie reversed its course and had a substantial increase in revenue of 92.86 per cent on its second Saturday, when it raked in Rs 6.75 crore. This was followed by an additional Rs 7.50 crore on Sunday, with a Hindi occupancy rate of 64.09 per cent. With this, the film has now surpassed the 50-crore milestone and has amassed a total of 56.55 crore rupees.

Sam Bahadur’s hold was decent throughout the first week, but things took a turn for the better over the second weekend. More than double a film’s first-week box office take is indicative of how well-received the film was.

The worldwide total for the film directed by Meghna Gulzar is now Rs 66.4 crore.

If the film’s release hadn’t coincided with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal, critics and industry insiders had noted before that the picture may have earned much more.

So far, this year has been rather eventful for Vicky Kaushal. After a disastrous attempt at The Great Indian Family and a smash hit with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, he has finally found success with Sam Bahadur.
