‘Sam Bahadur’ box office collection Day 3: Film starring Vicky Kaushal earns Rs 25 crore amidst tough competition

While Animal made over Rs 200 crore in its debut weekend, Sam Bahadur only made Rs 25 crore.

New Delhi: On December 01, theatres premiered Sam Bahadur, starring Vicky Kaushal, and Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor creating a huge box office clash. Sam Bahadur is still running well at the box office, even if it is competing with Animal.

As a result of the film’s successful first weekend, it had a fifty per cent increase in ticket sales on Saturday. It continued its upward trend on Sunday, and early estimates from an industry tracker Sacnilk indicate that the film made Rs 10.30 crore on its third day of release. As a result, Sam Bahadur has amassed a total domestic collection of Rs 25.55 crore with this latest development.

According to Sacnilk, Sam Bahadur’s Hindi version had an overall occupancy rate of 56.33 per cent on the third day after its release. The movie made a total of Rs 6.25 crore on its first day of release, and it continued to do well throughout the weekend. Sacnilk reported a growth rate of 44 per cent and earnings of Rs 9 crore rupees on Saturday (day 2). As of right now, the total earnings of the film amount to Rs 25.55 crore, in addition to the Rs 10.30 crore that was collected on day 3.

The newly released film Sam Bahadur starring Vicky Kaushal is competing head-on with Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, at the box office. While Animal made over Rs 200 crore in its debut weekend, Sam Bahadur only made Rs 25 crore.

The first Field Marshal of India, Sam Manekshaw, is the subject of the biography Sam Bahadur. He served in the army for forty years, through five different battles. He made history as the first officer from the Indian Army to be elevated to the position of Field Marshal. Sam Manekshaw commanded the Indian Army during the 1971 India-Pakistan war, which culminated in the formation of Bangladesh. This historical event serves as the setting for the film.

Vicky plays Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra plays his wife, and Fatima Sana Shaikh plays former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film directed by Meghna Gulzar.
