New Delhi: The film Sam Bahadur, which starred Vicky Kaushal, was met with a great deal of praise from both the public and the reviewers. Even though it competed with Ranbir Kapoor- starrer Animal at the box office, the movie’s performance was satisfactory. Through its narrative, the movie has been successful in keeping the audience captivated and hooked to the screens.
The public has been curious about the release of the film on OTT platforms ever since it was released. Even though several rumours are circulating that the picture will be made available on the OTT platform within three to four weeks after its first release.
Nevertheless, the film director Meghna Gulzar has revealed that eight weeks after the film’s premiere, the film may be launched online. Republic Day 2024 marks the beginning of its OTT broadcasting on ZEE 5. The film’s impending launch on the OTT platform was first reported by Pinkvilla.

About the Film – Sam Bahadur
On 1st December 2023, the movie was released in theatres. Besides Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, who essays the part of Sam Bahadur’s lady love, while Fatima Sana Sheikh plays the role of the country’s former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi among others in crucial roles.
The narrative of Sam Bahadur is about the first field marshal of India, who was appointed to his position in 1971.
