Be it Vicky’s captivating action or the film’s compelling plotline, the Meghna Gukaz directorial flick checked all the boxes required to pull fans into the theaters & emerge as a massive commercial success on the ticket window.
Now, after over a month and a half since Sam Bahadur’s theatrical release, the filmmakers have treated the fans with another surprise by unveiling the much-awaited OTT release date of the movie.

Revealing the date of the film’s OTT release, the makers, on Monday, took to its Instagram handle and confirmed that Sam Bahadur will arrive on Zee5 this Republic Day on 26 January 2024. This means that all the fans who missed out on watching this inspiring flick on the big screens will be able to enjoy it comfortably sitting inside their homes in just a matter of few days
Along with the movie’s digital premiere date, the filmmakers also shared an iconic poster of the film & attached it with a caption that read, “A visionary leader, legend, and a true hero – Sam is all set to command your screens.”
Sam Bahadur Story & Cast
Helmed by acclaimed director Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is a biographical war drama set in the era of 1971’s Indo-Pakistani war that led to the birth of Bangladesh. It tells the tale of Indian Army’s Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who heroically fought for his country & led the Indian forces to several battle victories against the Pakistani aggressors.
Besides Vicky Kaushal playing the lead character, the movie stars several talented actors including Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in pivotal roles. It was released on the big screens under the banner of RSVP movies on December 1, 2023.
