New Delhi: Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a picture with crossed fingers expressing mixed emotions before the release of her upcoming movie ‘Yashoda’.
The actress in the picture gave good vibes to the directors and producers of the movie ahead of the film. Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the Yashoda movie is playing the role of a surrogate mother.

Makers of Yashoda in 2021 revealed that they have started the shooting of the film. The movie is directed by Hari Shankar-Harish Narayan. Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada, Priyanka Sharma will be seen in the lead roles.
Yashoda will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in Shaakuntalam which was directed by Gunasekhar.
Apart from this, she will be seen in Kushi and ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’. Kushi is helmed by Shiva Nirvana and the movie features Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead roles.
