New Delhi: Actor Sanjay Dutt was injured on the sets while shooting for his upcoming Kannada film ‘KD- The Devil’. He met the tragic accident while shooting for a bomb explosion scene in Bengaluru and he reportedly suffered a few injuries. As per the reports, Sanjay Dutt injured his hand, elbow, and face.

The accident took place on Magadi Road in Bengaluru and more details about the accident are awaited. The actor is said to be recovering from the injuries.

‘KD- The Devil’ stars Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist and this is his second venture as an antagonist in Kannada films after ‘KGF 2’. Notably, Shilpa Shetty is also making her comeback into the Kannada film industry with ‘KD’.

The film is written and directed by Prem and stars Dhruva Sarja in the lead. ‘KD- The Devil’ also stars V. Ravichandran, Reeshma Nanaiah and Amjad Qureshi. While the plot of the film is unknown, the teaser shows a bloody war led by the protagonist while the police try to stop him and the villagers.

The release date of the film is not announced yet, the movie will hit the theatre screens in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam also.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt was last seen in ‘The Good Maharaja’ which revolved around the story of Maharaja of Jamnagar, who saved about 1000 Polish kids during World War II. The actor also has ‘Jawan’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Leo’ with Thalapathy Vijay and ‘Ghudchadi’ in the pipeline.
