According to exclusive information obtained by News18 Showsha, the filming of the film Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi will commence in Chandigarh after the Diwali celebrations. Gippy Grewal, the director, and actor of the film, confirmed the news and expressed his excitement, stating that the pre-production work is currently underway. He further shared that Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi is a delightful action comedy that will showcase Sanjay Dutt in a brand-new avatar.

During his visit to Mumbai to promote his upcoming comedy film Maujaan Hi Maujaan, Gippy Grewal revealed that he was pleasantly surprised by Sanjay Dutt’s fluency in Punjabi. Having a conversation with Dutt at his house, Grewal was taken aback to hear Dutt speaking the Punjabi language so well. In that moment, Grewal proposed the idea of doing a Punjabi film to Dutt, who readily agreed. After narrating the story of Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi to Dutt, the actor instantly gave his nod of approval.
The trailer of Gippy Grewal’s upcoming film, Maujaan Hi Maujaan, is scheduled to release on October 20, and it was launched by Salman Khan. Previously, Aamir Khan had released the trailer of Grewal’s last film, Carry on Jatta 3, which achieved the milestone of crossing Rs 100 crore at the box office.
Gippy Grewal expresses his gratitude towards both Salman Khan and Aamir Khan for their generous support. He mentions that they have not only shown support but also offered to be a part of any future projects he undertakes. Grewal considers himself blessed to have such strong backing from these actors.
