Satyaprem Ki Katha teaser: Kartik and Kiara promise a 90s-style romance

New Delhi: After impressing fans with their chemistry in Bhool Bhulaiya 2, Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani are back together in the upcoming romance-drama flick Satyaprem Ki Katha. The duo would be soon romancing each other in the Sameer Vidwans directorial.

In the teaser dropped just today, Kiara Advani and Kartik Aryan are showing undeniable chemistry amidst valleys, rivers, and carnivals. The picturesque romance mirrors 90s flicks.

The two not only share kisses but also tears because after all what is a love story without pain and problems? The beautiful teaser plays as Kartik Aryan says some dedicated words about his soulmate Kiara.

As soon as the teaser of Satyaprem Ki Katha dropped, fans flooded the comment section with admiration for the duo’s chemistry. “Reminds me of 90s romance,” wrote a user. “Kiara and Kartik have natural chemistry,” wrote another.

The typical romance flick is Sameer Vidwans’ directorial and Sajid Nadiadwala’s production. Satyaprem Ki Katha is going to hit the theatres on 29th June.

Earlier Controversy

Although the teaser is being received well till now, earlier the film found itself in a whirlpool of controversies because of its initial title.

Originally, the Kiara Advani starer was titled Satyanarayan Ki Katha. Because of its obvious religious overtones, the makers changed the title to Satya Prem (True Love) in 2021.

Moreover, Sameer Vidwans, the director of Satyaprem Ki Katha, also issued a statement regarding the change. Kartik Aryan also announced the same via his Instagram handle.

The filmmakers revealed that they changed the title to avoid any possible controversies as it might hurt religious sentiments.
