New Delhi: After facing many delays, the American adventure comedy series is finally set to hit the OTT Platforms. The movie was earlier scheduled to release in 2023 but faced inevitable delays. ‘Saving Bikini Bottom’ is now ready to stream in the digital platforms soon. However, the Production of the film was underway for many years.

The aimated series was earlier slated for a release date in February but it got delayed. The story of the film revolves around a squirrel Sandy Cheeks and her friend Spongebob SquarePants.

The squirrel and her friend decide to save bikini bottom and head to Sandy’s house to save it from the hands of an evil CEO. The adventure series is directed by Liza Johnson.

The voice-over cast of the film includes Carolyn Lawrence as Sandy Cheeks, Tom Kenny as SpongeBob SquarePants, Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick, Doug Lawrence as Plankton, and Rodger Bumpass as Squidward. The film will release globally in Netflix on August 2nd 2024 on Netflix.
