New Delhi: Written by Josh Stolberg and Peter Goldfinger and directed by Kevin Greutert, Saw X is an American horror film set to release in 2023. Starring returning cast members Tobin Bell and Shawnee Smith, the film is the tenth instalment in the Saw film series. It follows directly on the heels of Saw (2004) and is also a precursor to Saw II (2005).
The tenth instalment was said to be in the works with Twisted Pictures in April 2021, when the series co-writers, Stolberg and Goldfinger, who had worked on the first two films, revealed in December 2021 that they had finished writing the screenplay. Production in Mexico City spanned the months of October 2022 through February 2023.
On September 29, 2023, Saw X was released in theatres by Lionsgate Films. It was the best-reviewed Saw film of all time and earned over $111 million globally, thanks to mostly good reviews. Saw XI, the much-anticipated sequel, is set to hit theatres in September 2024.

Plot
According to the narrative, John, who is afflicted with cancer and in a state of desperation, embarks on a journey to Mexico to undertake a medical operation that is both hazardous and experimental. On the other hand, he is unaware that the whole operation is a con that is intended to take advantage of individuals who are the most susceptible to being taken advantage of.

The film Saw X features Tobin Bell as John Kramer in the lead role, in addition to, Octavio Hinojosa as Mateo, Shawnee Smith as Amanda Young, Steven Brand as Parker Sears, Renata Vaca as Gabriela, Jorge Briseño as Carlos, and other notable actors.
