Seven Screen Productions reveal title for ‘Thalapathy 67’ along with first song (WATCH)

The film stars Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Arjun and Mansoor Ali Khan in major roles. 

New Delhi: Seven Screen Productions shared a title-reveal promo for Thalapathy 67 and revealed the title along with the first song from the film. The film is titled ‘Leo’ and is set to be a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe. The film stars Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Arjun and Mansoor Ali Khan in major roles.

The promo shows Vijay in a chocolate factory, carving a sword. He then dips his hands and the sword in the melted chocolate as he waits for his enemies. The promo is shot in a similar style to ‘Vikram’ and makes the LCU much more exciting.

The song ‘Bloody Sweet’ is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and vocals are lent by Siddharth Basrur and Anirudh himself. Lyrics for the title track are penned by Heisenberg.

The film marks the second collaboration between Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after their box-office blockbuster ‘Master’. The film will share the same universe as ‘Vikram’ and ‘Kaithi’ and fans also spotted Vasanthi, who played Agent Tina in ‘Vikram’ along with the crew of ‘Leo’.

Trisha and Priya Anand, along with the crew, reportedly flew to Srinagar for a month-long shoot. Sanjay Dutt is also set to join them later.

The action in the film is credited to Anbariv and the cinematography is done by Manoj Paramahamsa. The film is set to hit the cinemas on October 19.
