New Delhi: Exactly a year ago, the Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan teased his OTT debut with Hotstar by sharing some promotional videos. However, the announcements were put on hold as his son Aryan Khan got involved in a legal battle concerning a drug case. Now, the actor has taken to social media to treat his fans by sharing a poster featuring him and “SRK+ Coming Soon” written on it.
The megastar took to social media to share a poster where he is seen wearing shades and paring his grey t-shirt with a denim jacket while giving a thumbs up and ‘SRK+ Coming soon’ written on it. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Kuch kuch hone wala hai, OTT ki duniya mein.”

It seems like SRK+ is an OTT app that the 56-year-old actor is going to launch. Just after the announcement, fans and colleagues hit the like button and couldn’t resist sharing their excitement. Salman Khan and Anurag Kashyap congratulated him for his upcoming OTT platform. Salman Khan wrote, “Aaj ki party teri taraf se @iamsrk. Congrats on your new OTT app, SRK+” while Anurag tweeted, “Dream come true! Collaborating with @iamsrk on his new OTT app, SRK+”

Recently, Shah Rukh announced that his son Aryan will be making his debut as a scriptwriter with an upcoming film and OTT series. He is said to have been developing a script for his dad’s production house.
Notably, Shah Rukh is the first Bollywood star to start his own OTT platform. Besides, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit amongst others have teamed up with big OTTs for their series.
On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is busy shooting for his upcoming movie Pathan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie is set to hit the theatres on January 26, 2023.
