New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date of his upcoming movie Dunki during the success event of his latest film Jawan. According to ANI, Dunki will be released around Christmas or New Year. There were rumors that Shah Rukh’s next movie, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, might be delayed due to the success of Jawan and Pathaan.

In a video shared by ANI on X, Shah Rukh expressed his gratitude for the success of his recent movies. He mentioned that he considers himself blessed for having projects like Pathaan and Jawan. He mentioned that they started filming Pathaan on January 26, Republic Day, which was a good and auspicious day. He also noted that they released Jawan on Janmashtami, which is Lord Krishna’s birthday.

Shah Rukh further shared his plans for the upcoming movies, mentioning that they will release Dunki around New Year and Christmas. He emphasized his commitment to promoting national integration through his work. He also acknowledged that whenever his film Is released, it becomes like a festive occasion, especially during Eid. Shah Rukh mentioned that he is working harder than ever and finds happiness in seeing people enjoy his films.
About Dunki
Dunki, a film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, features Taapsee Pannu in the main role. This movie is the first collaboration between Shah Rukh, Rajkumar, and Taapsee. Vicky Kaushal and Dharmendra also play important roles in the film.
