
New Delhi: Days, after social media users started using hashtags to Boycott SRK’s upcoming film Pathaan after the release of their first song “Beshaaram rang.”
Now amid this, Shahrukh Khan has finally opened up on the boycott trend and said that social media is often driven by a certain narrowness of view which limits a person’s nature to its baser self.
‘Pathaan’ song Besharam Rang is being criticised for Deepika and SRK saffron and green costumes, King Khan sent out a positive message at the inauguration of the Kolkata International Film Festival 2022.
He said he has read somewhere that negativity increases social media consumption.
He called it divisive & destructive.

After he concluded his speech, SRK used his Pathaan dialogue in order to urge people to focus on positivity.

Pathaan’s first song ‘Besharam Rang’ was released on December 12, and soon it started making headlines and trending on social media. While s set of people found ‘Besharam Rang’ objectionable over the use of saffron and green costumes. On the other hand, some even staged a protest against Pathaan and Besharam Rang song and set effigies of Deepika and Shah Rukh on fire.
