Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan enlists Hollywood action directors for thrilling spectacle

New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan’s highly anticipated film, “Jawan,” is inching closer to its much-awaited release. As fans eagerly await the cinematic spectacle, new details about this action-packed entertainer have emerged, stoking excitement further. The film is set to present Shah Rukh in a distinct role, diverging from his previous characters, and the early glimpses revealed him engaged in exhilarating action sequences alongside Nayanthara, the lead actress. However, a recent revelation has added a Hollywood touch to the movie’s action sequences.

The creative team behind “Jawan” has assembled a team of six globally acclaimed action directors, each lending their unique expertise to infuse the film with an international flair. Their collective portfolio boasts contributions to major Hollywood productions like “Avengers” and “Inception,” as reported by The Indian Express.

The film encompasses a spectrum of action styles, from intense hand-to-hand combat to thrilling motorcycle chases, high-octane truck and car pursuits, and beyond. Spearheading these electrifying sequences are six accomplished action directors: Spiro Razatos, Yannick Ben, Craig Macrae, Kecha Khamphakdee, Sunil Rodrigues, and Anal Arasu. Their meticulously crafted scenes are set to play a pivotal role in propelling the film’s narrative forward.

Among these maestros is Spiro Razatos, known for his work on Hollywood blockbusters such as “The Fast and the Furious,” “Captain America,” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Having previously collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan on “Ra One,” his expertise in visual effects and action sequences is well-recognized. Yannick Ben, renowned for action direction in movies like “Transporter 3,” “Dunkirk,” and “Inception,” brings his skillset to enhance the film’s action quotient, having also contributed to Indian hits like “Raees” and “Tiger Zinda Hai.”

The lineup also features Craig Macrae, the creative force behind the gripping action in films like “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” Kecha Khamphakdee, who clinched a national film award for his work on “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” is another addition, offering his proven expertise.
