New Delhi: Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor made a theatrical release on Friday. The film marks Ranbir Kapoor’s comeback after four years gap. The actor plays a larger-than-life role and is seen in an all-new avatar. The story of Shamshera is set in the backdrop of the fictitious city of Kaza in 1871, where a warrior tribe is imprisoned, enslaved, and tortured by a ruthless authoritarian general Shuddh Singh, essayed by Sanjay Dutt.

Shamshera was released in more than 4000 theatres across India. The lead actors engaged in active promotions throughout the past weeks. Moreover, the audience has been impressed with the movie, especially for cinematography, action, look, and background music. What is attracting more moviegoers is Ranbir Kapoor’s comeback.
