New Delhi: A Shark Tank season 2 pitch brought out the ‘angry’ side of Namita Thapar. In a recent promo posted by the show’s social media handle, Namita Thapar is seen criticizing a weight loss diet pitch.
The pitch was made by a SAS Fat to Slim. In the promo video, the pitch-maker can be heard saying that people get fed up with their previous diets and hit to restart their weight loss journey.
Taking the rightful offence, Namita cuts her mid-sentence. She says the word that you used here, ‘restart,’ the problem lies right here.
She continued and said that she doesn’t fundamentally agree with the no exercise, and ‘restarting’ with your plan can help you lose weight.

Namita advised the Shark tank contestant that we should rather spread the word that losing weight is a lifestyle change.
Calling her product a gimmick, Namita said that the reason why India has become blood pressure and diabetes capital is that we fall for such gimmicky things and mess up their health.
She further said, “sorry par ye sab sun ke gussa aa jata hai.” Namita ended her monologue by saying let’s not misguide the country. After slamming the weight loss pitch, she ruled out herself from the pitch.
As the Emcure pharmaceutical CEO spoke, other sharks nodded along in agreement.
Previous Promo
However, in the earlier promo of the same pitch, other sharks were seen bursting into laughter over the contestant’s response to Namita.
In the clip, Namita is asking, “How can you say no exercise…I am a fitness freak, if I don’t work out, I can’t feel good about myself.”

To which the contestant replies, “Have you seen aunties in society who move their waists in circles…never have one of them suddenly transformed into a model.” At this hilarious response, Vineeta, Aman, and Peyush shoot into uncontrollable laughter.
