New Delhi: The episode starts with the first pitch kicked off by Himanshu Adlakha and Nikita Adhlaka. The couple has presented their brand which was a range of beauty appliances that are suitable for home usage. Basically, their products were imported from China market, rebranded, and sell it. They demanded it for Rs 1 cr including 4% equity.
The Adlakha couple went on to share their story soon after Anupam Mital questioned the couple about how they met and got married in an arranged marriage. Nikita says Himanshu was the first person she met through such an arranged setup, her parents liked him as well and asked her to go for it. On the other hand, Himanshu claims they met through a middleman and he really liked her photo. Nikita then said she had no idea about what would happen in an arranged meeting but then everything went well and they both decided to get married.
Namita decided not to involve in the deal as she find the products very whimsical. As the products were imported, she said there is a lack of trust which is the reason she is no longer in the agreement. Meanwhile, Anupam at first states that he does not fully comprehend the model’s concept. Aman Gupta informs the pitcher that he is unable to make an offer since he is also a brand and will be involved in competing for business, but he simply wishes them luck.
However, after gaining a better understanding of the business model, he offers a deal and Vineeta Singh intends to participate in the transaction. The pitchers agree to Anupam and Vineeta’s offer: 1 crore with 10% equity.
Moving on to the next pitcher, Ganesh Balakrishnan, he introduces his brand, which offers a variety of super footwear created of breathable fiber. Ganesh went on to discuss his business strategy as well as how it is going to be halted. He also tells that 33% of his angel investors aren’t longer willing to invest. He desires to promote his products on the global market as well. Ganesh becomes emotional as he discusses how hard he has worked to manage his company.
Anupam is curious about his personal life. The pitcher responds that he is married and has a 10-year-old daughter. Sharks get emotional listening to his story and Anupam offers him a job at his place. Peyush and Vineeta offer Rs 75 lakh in exchange for 33.3% equity.
However, in the end, Ganesh declines the offer.
