New Delhi: Shark Tank India Season 2 keeps tugging at each other. Although the sharks mostly engage in harmless banter, sometimes they end up offending each other.
Last week, Car Dekho founder Amit Jain became the newest addition to the panel of sharks, replacing last season’s Ashneer Grover.
In a shocking yet humorous exchange, he called Namita Thapar a “husband beater” after a pitch about tasers.
The pitch was presented by Abhay Sharma and Smaritika Sharma for their brand Smart Stick Guardians. The smart stick is a comprehensive tool for travelers as it has features like SOS, Flashlight, Power Bank, Panic Alarm, and Tazers. Namita Thapar joked as the pitch the going on, “can this be accidentally used on husbands,” to which Amit Jain replied by calling her a Husband Beater.
Anupam Mittal also added to the banter by saying, “Ghar ki Baate Ghar me Rakho…Kya bata rahi ho national TV par.”
The pitch makers explained that their tasers can provide light shocks to the animals in wild without injuring them.
Shark Tank or Sasural Simar Ka?
Since the beginning of season 2 of Shark Tank India, some fans are complaining about “unnecessary drama.”
However, now the sharks are biting back at this criticism. Anupam Mittal, on Saturday, tweeted, ” is Twitter becoming quora?”

A user replied to his tweet by saying, “is Shark Tank India becoming Sasural Simar Ka?” Shaadi.com founder wasn’t having none of it and he said, “Well good since you clearly watch both.”

In the latest promo, Amit and Anupam are seen at each other’s throats.
Amit Jain says Anupam Mittal has no business ideas of his own. He further boasts saying, “look at me I have started 4 companies.”
