New Delhi: Kartik Aryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada got its OTT release date. Those who missed watching it in theaters can now watch the movie in OTT platform. It is a romantic comedy which failed to grab the attention of the audiences during its theatrical release earning only 32.20 crores in box office. After one and a half months of its theatrical release, it is now going to be released in OTT.
Release date and platform
The movie is going to be released on Netflix on 14th of April. It is surprisingly to be aired at midnight. The lead actors of the movie; Kartik Aryan Kriti Sanon shared the date and platform of its OTT release on their social media handles. Netflix also released a small video clip of Kartik Aryan Kriti Sanon announcing its OTT release. It will be available on Netflix from April 14, 2023. In the video clip they were seen saying “No more secrets, Shehzada is soon arriving on Netflix. With Shehzada Kartik has also made its debut as a producer.

It is the remake of a Telugu movie Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde which was released three years back in 2020. Movie was directed by Rohit Dhawan, brother of Varun Dhawan. Other cast of the movie includes Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, Paresh Rawal, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles. Apart from this, the duo was last seen in the movie Lukka Chuppi which was released in the year 2019. Kartik Aryan is right now busy in shooting for his upcoming film Satyaprem Ki Katha with his Bhul Bhulaiya co-star Kiara Advani. On the other hand, Kriti Sanon is next to be seen in Adipurush starring Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan.
