Shekhar Home OTT Release Date: Renowned film director Srijit Mukerji is all set to tantalize the audience with a brand new upcoming web series.
Taking inspiration from Sir Arthur Conan’s celebrated fictional detective novel Sherlock Homes, the show, titled ‘Shekhar Home ‘will hit the OTT screens in the coming month starring Kay Kay Menon Ranvir Shorey, and Rasika Dugal amongst others in its cast.

Days after officially announcing Shekhar Home, its makers, on Monday, teased the fans by dropping the web series’ official first look on social media. The intriguing poster sees Kay Kay posing next to his co-actors
Along with the poster, the makers also confirmed that the suspense drama will start streaming on Jio Cinema on August 14th, 2024. A caption attached to the post read, “A web of unsolved mysteries and only one man who can solve them Shekhar Home streaming 14 August onwards exclusively on Jio Cinema Premium.”
Plot of the Series
Shekhar Home plot unfolds in 1990’s West Bengal’s Lonpur. It follows the tale of two unmarried middle-aged men who end up as one another’s housemates after their destiny brings them together.
From there, the duo embarks on an adventurous journey across Eastern India during which, they solve a number of mysteries while unearthing several secrets forgotten by time.
Cast and Production
Shekhar Home in its star cast, features Key Key Menon, Ranvir Shorey, and Rasika Dugalo in the main roles. Additionally, it also sees other actors like Usha Uthup, Kaushik Sen, Korak Samantha Satish Badal, and Madhvendra Jha playing side roles. The web series is directed by Srijit Mukherjee while BBC Studies have presented it under their production banner.
