Before appearing in several works written by Jang Jin, Shin Ha Kyun had stage acting training at the Seoul Institute of the Arts. Park Chan Wook’s late-2000 blockbuster Joint Security Area catapulted Shin to fame with his portrayal of a youthful North Korean soldier. Along with co-star Won Bin, his massive fan base at the time contributed to the economic success of his subsequent films, Guns & Talks. His performances still leave a lasting impression on us.

4. Less Than Evil (2018)

In this crime thriller, a brilliant lady who is oblivious to her own mortality plays mind games with a detective who is morally upright but haunted by the murders he solves.

5. Pied Piper (2016)
