Somebody Somewhere OTT Release: The American Comedy Drama series will be arriving on the streaming platforms on October 27th on Jio Cinema. The series premiered on HBO on January 16, 2022.
Plot
The story of the film follows the life of a 40-year-old woman named Sam, Sam is dealing with a lot of emotional crisis after her sister dies. Sam arrives in Manhattan to take care of her ailing sister who is battling cancer.
Sam’s sister Tricia used to run a store called ‘Tender Moments’ and Sam used to come and help her in the store sometimes.
However, things take a dramatic turn when Sam’s sister passes away and she battles to live with the loss of her sister. Even after 6 months, Sam finds it difficult to get into a normal life.
According to the Makers, this will be the final series of this series, the last two seasons also received a lot of love from the viewers and the makers decided to come up with a fresh series.
The series moves around the woman Sam who is in her 40s and becomes all alone when her only sister passes away from cancer. For the first three months, she feels numb. sad and lonely.
Seeing her like this, her co-worker and friend Joel decide to come and help her in dealing with the crisis. He comes and visits her and tries to make some time for her. He used to help her in cooking, cleaning etc.
However, with time Sam gets back to normal. She feels uplifted and positive and moves on in life. Finally, Sam discovers her passion for singing and starts looking forward in life.
Star Cast and Production
The series features Bridget Everett, Jeff Hiller, Murray Hill, and Mary Catherine Garrison in pivotal roles.
