Sorgavaasal OTT Release Date: Sidharth Vishwanath’s much-awaited Tamil flick Sorgavaasal has finally made it to the big screens today. While the initial reviews of the action drama movie are not so welcoming, it will be too early to say anything about the film’s Box Office performance & its reception by the fans. The movie stars RJ Balaji and Selveraghavan in lead roles & has been written by the talented trio of Sidharth, Vishwanath, Tamizh Prabha, and Ashwin Ravichandran.

According to the latest reports, Netflix has purchased Soregavaasal’s OTT rights for a fancy price. This means that after wrapping up its Box Office, the film will make its digital debut on Netflix, allowing fans to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes. However, one must note that the exact date when it will land on the streaming platform is yet to be unveiled by the makers.

Set in the late 90s, Sorgavaasal tells the tale of an ordinary man named Parthu whose life turns upside down when the police falsely frame him for the murder of an IAS officer.

Following that, Parth is thrown inside a prison controlled by Sunil Kumar where he has to deal with a Siga, a fierce inmate who is infamous for his extremely violent nature.  What happens next and how the guy deals with the harsh realities of the hellish world that exists behind the bar is what the rest of the film is about.

Cast and Production 

In its star cast, Sorgavaasal features RJ Balaji and Selvaraghan in lead roles. In addition, the crime thriller also sees other actors like details Balaji Sakthivel, Saniya Iyappan, Natarajan Subramaniam, Karunas, Sharaf U Dheen, Hakkim Shah, Ravi Raghavendra and Samuel Abiola Robinson in pivotal roles.  Siddharth Rao and Pallavi Singh have bankrolled the film under the banners of Swipe Right Studios and Think Studios.
