New Delhi: Season 2 of the much-anticipated Squid Game will build on the success of the previous instalment to enthral and engage viewers once again. This captivating Korean drama will be back on Netflix in 2024, and the streaming service has even given fans a thrilling sneak peek at the next season.

Netflix has finally given fans what they’ve been waiting for – a teaser for the highly anticipated release. It becomes clear to Seong Gi Hoon after the game’s creator’s death that the deadly competition is continuing with new players. Many new and old faces make appearances in the teaser, and the plot is set to heat up as Gi Hoon plans to end the game and stop its makers.

Casts
Returning to the arena in season 2, Seong Gi Hoon, played by Lee Jung Jae, confronts the mastermind of the wicked games. The freshly released season stills include protagonist Gi Hoon with Lee Byung Hun’s enigmatic character, the Front Man, and Gong Yoo’s character, the Salesman. Wi Ha Joon, who was a fan favourite in season one, will also be back as a major character.

In the latest frame, viewers can see a new protagonist, played by Park Gyu Young, who appears to have been scouted to take part in the Squid Game.
Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun will bring new characters to the plot, which will enhance its depth.
