New Delhi: Sridevi, a beloved veteran Bollywood actress, died five years ago today. She had been in Dubai for the marriage ceremony of Mohit Marwah, and she died the next day. The actress was said to have drowned in her room’s bathtub. Many people, however, believed that this was not the case. While it is yet unclear how Sridevi died, her demise left a large vacuum in the hearts of her family and fans. Her fans recall her popular characters and films and value her contributions to the film business. On Thursday, Sridevi’s husband, Boney Kapoor, took to Instagram to post the late actress’s final photograph.
In the ‘final picture,’ Sridevi can be seen posing with Boney, their daughter Khushi, and other families. Her daughter Khushi wore a pastel peach lehenga while the seasoned actress wore a pastel green and gold ethnic attire. “Last picture,” the producer stated on the image. A few hours later, Boney Kapoor recalled his ‘first picture’ with Sridevi in 1984. Another photo shows Sridevi tenderly kissing Boney Kapoor while he smiles at the camera.

Meanwhile, Sridevi appeared in more than 300 films. Sadma, Chaalbaaz, Khuda Gawah, Nagina, Chandni, and Judaai were among her many films. She began her acting career in Tamil films and finally eventually found her way to Bollywood.
