New Delhi: With hardly some days left for stepping into April, OTT platforms have already pre-planned some of the much-awaited releases for the month. Movies, shows, and series will start pouring in from the very first week of April. The audiences are eager to see some action, drama, comedy, science fiction, and much more.
Just before official entering into April, let’s take a prior look at the upcoming releases on various OTT platforms:
1. Aadavaallu Meeku Johaarlu – SonyLiv
Written and directed by Tirumala Kishore, the Telugu romantic comedy-drama is set to stream on OTT on April 2. The movie is all about the journey of Chiranjeevi in finding a suitable bride who will be approved by all the five women under whom he grew up. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna, Khushbu Sundar, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Urvashi, and Sharwanand in pivotal roles.
2. Happiness – Netflix
Good news for all the K-drama fans as Happiness is set to release on April 6. The story revolves around an outbreak of an infection that makes the high-rise apartment building being sealed off; meanwhile, the residents struggle to survive stricken with fear and distrust of others. The series stars Park Hyung-Sik, Han Hyo-joo amongst others in pivotal roles.
3. Dasvi – Netflix
The Hindi social drama is an adaptation of a real-life incident narrating the story of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala who cleared his class XII exam at the age of 82 in prison and was held culprit in the teacher’s recruitment scam case. The movie stars Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam, and Nimrat Kaur in pivotal roles. The movie will stream from April 7.
4. Gullak Season 3 – SonyLiv
The Mishra family is back to entertain their fans with the third season. This time, the story shows how the Mishras are struggling with household, but things see a happier side when the elder son secures a job. However, soon again, the patriarch Santosh Mishra loses his job due to office politics, things turn upside down. The series will stream from April 7.
