‘Stolen’ starring Abhishek Banerjee, will have its world premiere at the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala

The premieres of Stolen will take place during the festival on December 9, December 11, and December 13, respectively.

New Delhi: On behalf of the Kerala Department of Cultural Affairs, the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy hosts and organises the International Film Festival of Kerala. The film festival is set to take place this year from December 8th to the 15th.

In addition to generating waves at the Venice Film Festival 2023, the forthcoming film Stolen, which stars Abhishek Banerjee in the main role, is now making its way to the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala. The movie will be shown at the “Festival Kaleidoscope” segment of the festival that is being held.

The premieres of Stolen will take place during the festival on December 9, December 11, and December 13, respectively.

The Plot of the Film

The story of a woman whose five-month-old baby is kidnapped is told in the film. Witnessing the occurrence, brothers Gautam and Raman are thrust into a series of trials that put their bonds and beliefs to the test. Their already troubled relationship becomes much more complicated when they try to aid the distraught mother by becoming involved in the inquiry.

Casts and Crews

The film is funded by Gaurav Dhingra, the founder of Jungle Book Studio, who also serves as the film’s producer and writer. Karan Tejpal, who is also a writer and director, is the one in charge of handling the picture. Mia Maelzer and Shubham both have significant parts in the movie as well.

Other Details

After a stunning debut as India’s only film at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, it went on to premiere at many other major film festivals. The film had its world debut in India at the 2023 Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
