New Delhi: The movie – Sukhee starring Shilpa Shetty was first released in theatres not more than a few months before, on September 22. Storyline
As the name implies, Sukhee is the key character performed by Shilpa Shetty. Sukhpreet (Sukhee) Kalra, 38, is a typical middle-class Punjabi wife named Guru. A little daughter in her school years completes their family. The family also includes Sukhee’s father-in-law, who is a very lovable person in his own right and a wonderful addition to the family.
It becomes clear during this film that Sukhee is becoming weary of the mundane aspects of her existence. After being bored and exhausted with everyday life, she eventually decided to attend her high school reunion after 17 years, so she flew to Delhi to attend it.
She was able to relive her teenage years and go through a series of experiences in seven days at her high school reunion that helped her make the hardest transition of her life, from being a wife and mother to being a woman again.
The Interesting All-Girls Trip
Sukhee’s life has become so routine that she finally gives in to the voice of her soul and embarks on a women’s trip. Sukhee and her female gang not only recall their old days but also live their present-day queen-size. The women go all out in their celebration of life, armed with their collegiate slogan of three ‘Bs’ – ‘Bedhadak’, ‘Besharam’, ‘Beparwaah’.
