New Delhi: Actor Sushant Singh Rajput has been immensely discussed in the public forum after his shocking death on 14th June 2020. While the authorities called the death a suicide, many fan theories suggest that Sushant was murdered. More than two and a half years later, this investigation hasn’t reached any conclusive end. In the meantime, reports have been that Sushant’s flat where he was found dead during the lockdown is getting new tenants.
Based on Carter road in Bandra, Mumbai, this luxury house was home to Sushant Singh Rajput. Where he lived with his girlfriend at the time, Rhea Chakraborty, flatmate Siddharth Pithani and his two help Neeraj and Keshav. Sushant had taken this house on a lease of 3 years and was lying empty ever since his unfortunate death. The owners that live outside of India now as per reports are looking for new tenants. And the rent for this opulent yet grim space is said to be higher than most houses. Reports suggest that the current rent for it is Rs. 5 Lakhs per month.

Media reports are saying that there is a conversation with some interested parties to take the house. Sushant had taken the space on rent for 3 years and ever since his sad demise, no one wanted to take it. After a long search on part of the owners of this duplex flat, reports suggest they have found new tenants. With Rs. 30 Lakhs security deposit, the real estate broker Rafique Merchant informed India today that they have found new tenants and that the finalization is under process.
This 3600 square feet duplex flat used to cost Sushant Rs. 4.5 Lakhs per month but now the rent has been increased to Rs. 5 Lakhs. The late actor shifted to this flat in December 2019 and was found dead in his bedroom in June 2020. Almost 3 years have passed since then, but fans still refuse to accept that Sushant committed suicide. Despite the continued investigation, nothing conclusive has come out yet and fans still yearn for the truth to come out.
