New Delhi: It’s official! Businessman Lalit Modi and actress Sushmita Sen are dating. Taking to Twitter, Lalit Modi confirmed the news on Thursday, July 14. Besides, he shared several pictures featuring him and his “better half,” Sushmita Sen, describing it as a “new beginning.” Later, he clarified that they are not married yet but plan to tie the knot one day. With the announcement made, fans wondered whether the ring on the actress’ finger is that of her engagement ring or not.
Is Sushmita Sen flaunting her engagement ring?
According to reports by India Today, the ring Sushmita Sen was seen flaunting in the viral pictures is not her engagement ring. If one scrolls down the actress’s Instagram handle, it can be seen that the actress has been sporting the same ring back in February 2021, when she was in a relationship with the model Rohman Shawl. Also, in another video during Aarya promotions, the actress is seen wearing the same ring.

Lalit Modi confirmed that he is dating Sushmita Sen
On Thursday, the controversial businessman took to Twitter to announce that he is dating Sushmita Sen. Sharing several pictures, he tweeted, “Just back in london after a whirling global tour #maldives # sardinia with the families – not to mention my #betterhalf @sushmitasen47 – a new beginning a new life finally. Over the moon.”

Quoting Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen, India Today reported, “I am pleasantly surprised too. I will speak to my sister about this.”
Lalit Modi is an Indian businessman who is currently based in London. He fled the country in 2010 after an investigation regarding a money laundering case began.
