New Delhi: In a new teaser film, Netflix offered an intriguing look at Sweet Tooth’s final season. The streaming behemoth announced the third and final season of the fantasy drama Sweet Tooth only one month after the second season debuted. June 6th marks the release date on Netflix of this last season.
Sweet Tooth has been a treasured fan favourite since it first debuted on Netflix in 2021 and captured fans worldwide.
Sweet Tooth is based on the critically renowned comic book series by Jeff Lemire and follows the adventures of Gus, a youngster who is half human and half deer, as he and his friend Jepperd set off on a dangerous quest.
Plot
The series provides a fresh spin on the post-apocalyptic genre by expertly blending danger, tenderness, and humour in a society devastated by an epidemic, where hybrid children like Gus endure persecution. The setting of the fantasy series is a strange new planet where a hybrid species is about to emerge just as mankind is on the brink of extinction.
With his friend Jepperd by his side, Gus faces risk as they go into the post-apocalyptic world, which has brought about significant changes for hybrid offspring.
Set in frigid Alaska, the new storyline follows Gus and his group of hybrids as they search for his mother and attempt to unravel the mystery of their origins. A sneak peek at the scenario is available in the teaser trailer.
When and Where to Watch?
Netflix has officially announced that Sweet Tooth will be returning for a third season, with the debut set for June 6, 2024. Fearsome new experiences will determine the destiny of humans and other animals in the next season, which will premiere on Netflix.
