New Delhi: Last year saw many big names of the small screen like Tunisha Sharma, Vaishali Thakkar, Dipesh Bhan, etc untimely demise. Now, it seems that the string of bad luck has followed the TV industry in 2023 as Tarak Mehta Fame Sunil Holkar left the world at the age of 40.
Sunil Holkar, who garnered love from his comedic role Taarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma, is survived by his parents, wife, and 2 children.
The reason for the Television star’s death was acute liver cirrhosis. Sunil Holkar realised his worsening health would eventually take his life so he made a request to his close friend. He asked his friend to share one last status on his WhatsApp on his behalf. He wanted to say goodbye and love you to everyone one last time. The actor also apologized for any mistakes he made in life.

Sunil has been an integral part of the entertainment industry for the last 12 years. From theatre to television to big screen, Sunil made his presence felt. Last he worked in the National Award-winning Marathi movie “Goshth Eka Paithanichi.” Besides Taraak Mehta, he also played small roles in successful comedy serials like Madam Sir, Mister Yogi, and Morya.
Sunil Holkar would be immensely missed by the industry as one of the finest actors of comedy, and his love for the art of theatre and storytelling will live on through Ashok Natya Sansthan whom he devoted many years of his life.
