New Delhi: Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has joined the cast of Nikkhil Advani’s new venture ‘Vedda’ starring John Abrahim and Sharvari Wagh. The movie is eyeing the theatrical window in 2024. It is a high-octane action drama that commenced its shoot in Rajasthan. It is reported that Tamannaah is assigned a crucial role that will outline an important arc for the movie. Actor Abhishek Banerjee is also part of Nikkhil’s new action drama.

Recting on joining the cast of Veda Tamannaah said; I have always admired the way Nikkhil tells the stories, he has a knack for telling stories and his this ability is extremely endearing. She further added, John and I are working together for the first time and are extremely excited to see what her character will bring to the film.
Although, Nikkhil hasn’t revealed the role of Tamannaah in the film but praised her by quoting, ‘ Tamannaah has always given sensational performances. When he approached her to play the special role. He is thankful that Tamannaah has trusted his vision and agreed to join the film.

Vedaa is helmed by Nikkhil Advani, written by Aseen Arora and is backed by Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment. Nikkhil has earlier directed films like Kal Ho Na Ho, Salaam-e-Ishq, D-Day, and Batla House.
Meanwhile talking about Tamannaah’s workfront, she will be next seen in the movie Jailer opposite Superstar Rajnikanth. Recently her song Kaavaalaa from the film is setting the internet on fire, all thanks to Tamannaah’s powerful performance and sizzling dance moves.
