Target OTT Release Date: 2023 release South Korean crime-thriller ‘Target’, also known as ‘Don’t Buy the Seller’, is now available for watching on OTT.
Starring renowned actress Shin Hye-sun as in leading female character, the entertainer is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video for those who missed the chance to enjoy the movie during its theatrical run.
On the digital platform, the film is available in multiple languages including Korean, English, and Hindi. However, in order to watch it, one will be required to have a basic subscription to Amazon Prime’s premium services.
Target Movie on the Box Office
Helmed by Park Hee-gon, Target arrived on the big screens amid massive pre-release buzz back on August 30th, 2024.
The Flicker received rave receptions from the fans at the Box Office who not only lauded the movie for its exceptionally engaging story but also hailed it for its top-notch cinematography & screenplay.
By the end of its theatrical run, the crime drama amassed US$3 million from the ticket windows, becoming a commercial success by a decent margin.
Target Plot
After purchasing a used washing machine from an unknown person, a middle-class working lady Soo-Hyun soon learns that the machine is not in working condition.
Infuriated over the same, she then goes on the internet & lashes out at the seller while calling him a fraud in the comment box of each & every social media post.
However, instead of solving Soo-Hyun’s problems & replacing the old machine, the seller starts tracking her with seriously malicious intentions. What happens next is the remaining story of the movie.
Target Cast and Production
Besides starring Shin Hye-sun as the film’s leading lady, Target, in its cast also sees Lee Joo-young, Im Chul-soo, Noh Young-Hak, and Keum Sae-rok in other pivotal roles.
Han Eon-Jae Han Young-gyu has edited the movie with Fiona Films bankrolling it under their production banner.
