Telugu producer Bandla Ganesh accuses Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ of plagiarism

The owner of Parameswara Art Productions claimed that he got it registered the title before but forgot to renew it.

New Delhi: Telugu film producer Bandla Ganesh accused the makers of Jr NTR’s ‘Devara’ of plagiarism in the title. The owner of Parameswara Art Productions claimed that he got it registered the title before but forgot to renew it. As Jr NTR unveiled the title of the upcoming film ahead of his 40th birthday, Ganesh was quick to allege plagiarism.

Ganesh tweeted saying ‘Devara’ is a title he first registered, and as he forgot to renew, ‘they’ picked it. However, soon he shared a tweet saying he does not have any problem as this is Young Tiger’s movie and also referred to Jr NTR as ‘God’. Ganesh also shared the poster of the film on his Twitter handle to promote it.

Next day, as Jr NTR celebrated his birthday, Bandla Ganesh wished him on social media. Ganesh has previously worked with Jr NTR in blockbuster hits including ‘Baadshah’ and ‘Temper’.

Written and directed by Kortala Siva, ‘Devara’ also stars Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles. The duo of Kortala and Jr NTR is known for delivering the superhit film ‘Janta Garage’. ‘Devara’ is set to be a high-octane action thriller set in the forgotten coastal lands.

Produced under the banners of Yuvasudha Arts, MSK Films, and NTR Arts, one of the most anticipated Teulgu films of the year is set release in cinemas on April 5 next year in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
