Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam OTT Release Date: The official streaming date of Abhishek Kumar starrer comedy web show Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam is finally out.

Taking to its official social media handle, the Tamil entertainer’s streaming partner Amazon Prime Video, on Thursday, shared a post confirming that the series will have its global premiere on the platform from September 20 2024 onwards.

Dropping an intriguing poster of Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam on Instagram, the streaming giant wrote, “Welcome to Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam! A village where every day brings new twists and turns. Are you ready for the journey? Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam On Prime, New Series, Sept 20.”

Plot of the Series

Promising viewers a thrilling ride full of twists and turns, the web series unfolds in a fictional village called Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam.

It shows the journey of a young engineering graduate Siddarth who reluctantly steps into the rural area after being appointed there as the secretary of village panchayat.

However, the sheer contrast between city life and village lifestyle soon starts to make Siddarth uncomfortable, turning his early days in Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam into a comedy of errors.

How the urban guy gradually adjusts to his new reality and slowly starts embracing the village’s culture, norma and simplicity is what the web series is all about.

Helmed by Naga’s directorial prowess, Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam is an eight-episode-long Tamil web drama that sees actors like Abhiskeh Kumar, Anand Sami, Devadarshini, Niyathi, and Chetan Kadambi amongst many others in pivotal roles.

Balakumaran Murugeasan has penned the upcoming show with The Viral Fever (TVF)  bankrolling it under their production banner.
