New Delhi: This summer season, digital giant Zee5 is determined to entertain you with its latest original web show titled ‘Thalamai Seyalagam.’
Marking the OTT debut of award winner director Vasanthabalan, the gripping political drama, starring Kishore & Sriya Reddy, will start streaming from May 17 onwards, allowing Tamil movie buffs to binge-watch it from the comfort of their home.
However, it is important to note here that a subscription to Zee5’s services is necessary to access this series on the digital platform.
Thalaimai Seyalagam OTT Release Date Announcement
A few days back, Zee5 Tamil officially disclosed Thalamai Seyalagam’s digital debut date through its social media handle.
Taking to X (Formerly Twitter) the OTT portal shared an intriguing poster of the political web series & wrote, “Time to rule! The Biggest political thriller series of 2024 ThalaimaiSeyalagam will be streaming from May 17 only on ZEE5.”

Thalaimai Seyalagam Teaser & Plot
Thalamai Seyalagam’s promising teaser, which the makers unveiled on 3rd May 2024, showcases an extremely violent protest occurring inside the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. It then goes on to showcase a chaos-like situation in the city which sees several innocents getting thrashed, tortured, and killed. However, the teaser refrains from revealing more than that & ends up concealing the crux of the drama’s story from the viewers.
Meanwhile, the plot of the web series circles around a chief minister’s corruption trial’s inquiry. It also finds a link between the CM’s trial with injustices unfolding in Chenni’s outlaying areas and brutal murder in Jharkhand.
Thalaimai Seyalagam’s Cast and Production
Besides Sriya and Kishore, Thalaimai Seyalagam also features a few other actors like Aditya Menon, and Y.G. Mahendran in pivotal roles.
It is produced by Radikaa Sarathkumar in association with R Sarthkumar backed by the banner of Radaan Mediaworks India Limited.
