New Delhi: Venkat Prabhu also known as Venkat Kumar Gangai Amaran is a leading filmmaker in Tamil Industry who is well known for making films with diverse storylines. The last directorial of Venkat Prabhu was the action film ‘Custody’ featuring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. His next film which he announced is Thalapathy68 featuring Thalapathy Vijay. The name Thalapathy 68 is a tentative name of the film and is yet in the pre-production stage.
The talented filmmaker surprised everyone by dropping a hint about his next project on social media and now the director shared a video that shows the film titled Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu. The film is directed by actor Ananth.

The video shared by Venkat shows that’s Tale of Friendship, Homecoming Story’. A glimpse of a photo shoot was then shown in the video and the team of the film includes some young talent pools likeViduthalai fame BhavaniSre, Rj Vijay, KPY-fame Bala, and popular YouTuber Irfan. The project was announced back in 2021 and now the video of the team is also out. The title of the film Nanban Oruvan Vandha Piragu is carved from the evergreen friendship song Mustafa Mustafa by A.R Rahman. The film is backed by Masala Popcorn with White Feather Studios. The film looks like a good entertainer which will focus on friendship and the team will soon launch the promotional campaign over the next week on the occasion of friendship day.
Venkat Prabhu’s directorial Thalapathy 68 was announced on May 21 this year. This is his 12th film under his directorial and also the 25th film of the production house AGS Entertainment backing it. Many details of the project is not revealed yet because of Vijay’s upcoming film Leo.
