Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ to become highest opening Tamil film in UK

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is shaping up to be a must-watch film for Tamil cinema enthusiasts around the world.

New Delhi: It is anticipated that the Tamil film Leo, which is set to be released soon, will receive an enormous response in the UK, as evidenced by the pre-booking of movie tickets. In fact, it has already surpassed the record previously set by Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan I in terms of advance bookings. The movie is particularly noteworthy as it reunites actor Vijay with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, following their successful collaboration on the 2021 box office hit Master.

Leo’s audio launch event cancelled

The audio launch event of the upcoming Tamil film ‘Leo’, which was scheduled to take place on September 30, has been cancelled due to overwhelming demand for passes and safety concerns. Seven Screen Studio, the production banner behind the film, announced the cancellation in a post on social media platform X. The studio assured fans that the decision was not influenced by political pressure or any other reasons. Meanwhile, Bisleri, a leading packaged drinking water brand in India, has partnered with the film for a unique promotional campaign. Limited edition Bisleri packs featuring the ‘Leo’ coin will be available in 500ml, 1 ltr and 2ltr SKUs across Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
