Ahead of the joyous Onam festivities, the Malayalam thriller, directed by Jis Joy, will make its much-awaited digital debut on Sony Liv, allowing the fans to watch it right from the comfort of their homes.

In Thalavan, we see Biju Menon as Jayshankar, a newly appointed DYSP who earlier used to serve as a circle inspector. Meanwhile, Asif portrays the character of Karthik Vasudevan who was formerly a sub-inspector but has now been promoted to Circle inspector.
How the two work together to investigate a brutal murder case and how the Police department hierarchy & clash of egos cause major turbulence in the investigation is what the cop drama is all about.
