Thandel OTT Release Date: Chandoo Mondeti’s latest Telugu film Thandel was released on the big screen earlier this month on February 7th, 2025. featuring Veteran actors like Sai Pallavi and Naga Chaitanya in the leading role, the movie has so far received a decent reception from the cinemagoers and has already zoomed past the figure of 100 crore in terms of Box office collection. It is now set to entertain the fans on the digital screens as well.
Where to watch Thandel after its theatrical run?
According to the latest reports, Thandel, after wrapping up its Box Office run, will make its way to Netflix, which earlier purchased the film’s streaming rights for a fancy amount of money. Though its official OTT release date has not yet been unveiled, sources suggest that it might land on the digital platform on or around march 14th, 2025.
Plot of the Film
Written by Chandoo Mondeti himself, Thandel revolves around the life of Srikakulam, an unfortunate fisherman who unintentionally crosses the maritime boundary during a regular fishing trip & ends up on the other side of the border, in Pakistan.
There, he faces a number of challenges with safely returning back to India his only hope of getting back to his normal life. Will Srikulam manage to make home safely? Watch the movie in your nearest theaters from February 7th, 2025 onwards to find out.

With Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi gracing the screens as the lead pair, Thandel features an ensemble of other actors including Siddharth, and Priyadarshi in pivotal roles. Bunny Vasu, in association with Allu Aravind, has produced the movie with Geetha Arts backing it under its official banner.
